Today for dessert I did something new, namely dessert - yogurt mainly from millet.
My children unfortunately do not like eat millet and if they see it on a plate they will not eat it so I decided to smuggle this dish somehow to diet of my children today, and I tell you that the idea went well. The children were satisfied with the yogurt and asked for an extra, which made me extremely happy.
A very quick and simple recipe.
For preparation we will need:
- less than a glass of millet
- about 4 glasses of vegetable milk I used almond milk
- agave syrup, or any other healthy sugar substitute, can be stevia or xylitol
-fruits, they can also be frosty, I used frozen strawberries and half mangoes.
A method of preparing :
1. Pour millets with 4 cups of vegetable milk, add maple syrup (4 tablespoons) and cook on low heat until tender (about 20 minutes), if someone likes a sweeter taste, you can add more syrup.
2. When the millets cools down, I added fruit (if the millet is too thick, add a little bit of vegetable milk to have a more watery consistency.
Oj, sama bym zjadła :)
